Case Study

Transparency was key in the re-design of Whole Foods’ corporate headquarters in Austin, encompassing three buildings totaling 350,000 square feet. Inspired by the company’s commitment to transparency, the design strategically re-located workstations, incorporated glass walls, and maximized views of downtown Austin. This design approach enhances transparency, connectivity, and openness while improving efficiency and collaboration. Sustainability was also prioritized through the use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient lighting, resulting in LEED certification. The re-imagined office spaces of Whole Foods authentically reflect their civic-social character, showcasing their store branding, Whole Kids Foundation, and community programs through vibrant graphics. The design choices embody the company’s values and serve as a visual representation of their commitment to giving back. The result is a meaningful and inspiring environment that resonates with employees and visitors alike. The re-designed Whole Foods headquarters embodies transparency, sustainability, and authenticity. The office layout fosters connectivity, while sustainable materials align with their green-conscious approach. Vibrant graphics showcase community involvement and mission. It captures the essence of Whole Foods, providing a dynamic workplace that reflects their unique identity and values.
