MAD Studio had the honor of designing the brand identity for the inaugural LA Strong Golf Tournament. This project deeply resonated with us as a Los Angeles-based design firm. With the recent fires leaving a lasting impact on our local communities, this initiative felt incredibly close to home. LA Strong was born out of a shared commitment to resilience, unity, and rebuilding. Organized by Pinnacle Communication Services and CRESA, the tournament began as a way to bring together industry friends for a day of golf—but quickly grew into something far more meaningful. It became a platform for hope, support, and collective action. Color plays a vital role in shaping the brand’s visual language. Castleton Green, a symbol of strength, resilience, and hope, infuses the identity with a sense of renewal, growth, and vitality. It reflects the perseverance needed to move forward and the optimism that fuels new beginnings. Black adds depth and intensity, representing power, mystery, and elegance while also carrying a sense of authority and sophistication. White provides balance, offering clarity, safety, and the promise of transformation. Together, this palette creates a bold yet grounded identity that captures the spirit of Los Angeles and the mission behind LA Strong. We’re proud to have helped shape a brand that tells a story and uplifts a community.
